Backend Developer

Job Description – Backend Developer (Entry Level) Apex Byte is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Backend Developer to join our fully remote development team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career developers who enjoy working with server-side logic, databases, and APIs to build scalable and secure web applications. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend systems that power our web platforms and client applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, full-stack developers, and project managers to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions. 🔹 Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs Design, implement, and manage databases Integrate frontend components with backend logic Ensure application performance, security, and scalability Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code Debug, test, and optimize backend services Work with authentication, authorization, and data protection Collaborate in an agile development environment Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement

Requirements – Backend Developer 🔹 Technical Skills: Knowledge of backend programming languages (PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Python/Django, or similar) Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Basic knowledge of authentication & authorization (sessions, JWT, etc.) Familiarity with server concepts and hosting environments Basic understanding of frontend technologies for integration Experience with Git/GitHub or other version control systems 🔹 Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science / IT / BCA / MCA or related field Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year of experience are welcome Academic projects, internships, or personal projects are a plus 🔹 Soft Skills: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks Ability to work independently in a remote setup Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and code quality
